Temperature Complaints

Sometimes adjustments are needed to a building’s heating or cooling system.

During the heating season, the college maintains building temperatures at 68 degrees Fahrenheit.  For buildings with air conditioning, during the cooling season, the college maintains building temperatures at 78 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you believe your office is too warm or too cold, please contact the Office of Facilities Operations at extension 2353 during regular operating hours. The Office of Facilities Operations is open from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday to take temperature calls. Evening service is available until 10:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday.  Temperature concerns at night, during weekends, or on holidays, should be reported to Campus Police at 609-771-2167.

In a residence hall, residents should contact the Office of Residential Education & Housing Senior Staff member on duty.  If required, they will place a call to the Facilities & Administrative Services Customer Support Center at extension 2353.
